Santa Lucia Guest House is situated in a world heritage site. Previously known as Lake St. Lucia, the iSimangaliso Wetland Park is a pristine wildlife reserve in South Africa. iSimangaliso means “miracle” or “marvel”, and certainly lives up to its name.
The natural ecosystem consists of swamps, lake systems, beaches, coral reefs, wetlands, woodlands, and coastal forests. Lake St. Lucia is the largest Estuarine system in the world.
